CHS Senior Receives Ronald Regan Scholarship

CHS SENIOR RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS RONAL REGAN SCHOLARSHIP

Juan Pablo de los Rios, a Cathedral High School senior, has been designated as a 2013 Ronald Regan Presidential Foundation Scholar.

De los Rios was among twenty scholars named nationwide from an applicant pool of 22,000 students and twenty-five finalists. The Regan Foundation Scholarship Program honors the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President by rewarding college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.  He is believe to be the first ever El Paso recipient.

We invite the Cathedral High School community to congratulate Juan Pablo for this tremendous achievement!

CHS Receives New Athletics Mural

CATHEDRAL HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ANNEX WEIGHT ROOM RECEIVES NEW ATHLETICS MURAL

 

Cathedral High School would like to thank local artist Jim O’Rourke for creating a new athletic mural in the gym of the Alumni Annex building. 

The month-long project was designed to represent all aspects of Cathedral athletics.  “I really took to the ‘Fighting Irish’ theme and wanted to convey Cathedral sports as being strong, victorious,” said O’Rourke who has had many relatives attend Cathedral High School.

Rolando Pablos to Speak at Alumni Networking Dinner

        

ROLANDO PABLOS (’85), CEO OF BORDERPLEX ALLIANCE, TO SPEAK AT CATHEDRAL ALUMNI NETWORKING DINNER

The Cathedral High School Alumni Association - LQVQ invites you to join us for our annual Leadership Lecture Series Networking Dinner on Wednesday, May 29 at 5:30 PM at the Nuovo Capetto’s Restaurant at 2711 N. Stanton St.

Special guest speaker, Cathedral alumnus Rolando Pablos (’85), CEO of the Borderplex Alliance, will be speaking about his new leadership role in shaping the future of our El Paso community. 

Dinner will be sponsored by Nuovo Capetto’s Italian Restaurant and Code Electric, Inc. Electrical Contractors. This event is open to the public. Tickets are limited and can be purchased for only $15 each.
