Cathedral High School Traditions

For 87 years, tradition has guided the success and distinction of Cathedral High School as a premier college prep institution for young men in the El Paso, TX region.

When you walk into a classroom, students always stand up for guests or adults entering the room.  This sign of respect demonstrates the commitment our school has to creating future leaders in our community.

As young men begin their spiritual and academic journey as students at Cathedral, seniors and paired with freshmen to serve as mentors during this vital year of transition.  Mentorship, fellowship and fraternity are among the most notable traditions that distinguish Cathedral High School.

Through our traditions, Cathedral strives to prepare our students for college and for their Christian life-journey by reinforcing respect and fraternity.
